Hello sunshine!

The week-end gave us quite a scare. The snow came rolling in and the sun hide it's face. We had one inch of snow the ground was covered and the north wind blew a real blustery day. The men went about their chores and I baked banana bread, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. The kitchen was the place to be next to a warm over cooking up some smiles. The choice drink was hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks the aroma is etched forever in my mind. With the snow falling outside the oven and I were warm. It was a good week-end after all. Today we say again hello sunshine.
